Facts About Hybrid Cars
There are a number of myths and misrepresentations about hybrid cars but there are also a number of clear facts. Certain hybrid cars produce a significant amount less pollutants than conventional cars although the amount depends on the model. The United States Government offers a number of incentives so that citizens will turn to hybrid cars and these include a valuable tax rebate. The cost of hybrid cars can be high initially but the truth about it is that it is an investment as the parts have warranties that provide free replacements. They keep their value as they are so much in demand. They tend to last longer than conventional gasoline cars and do not require more maintenance than other cars. The facts about hybrid cars technology...

New Hybrid Cars
If you have been in the market for a new car recently, you may have seen advertisements and articles about the new hybrid cars. These automobiles sound quite attractive on the surface, since they can get up to 20-30 more miles to the gallon than their traditional counterparts. Many of the big auto manufacturers have jumped on the new hybrid car bandwagon, including Toyota, Honda, Lexus and Saturn. But what are these new hybrid cars and what can one of them do for you?

What Are The Two Different Forms Of Hybrid Cars?
Currently, there is a lot of interest in hybrid cars due to the gas prices of recent years. There are two forms of hybrid cars. The first is a parallel hybrid, where there is both a gas and electric supply attached to the transmission of the car and the car is able to use both sources when running. The second is a series hybrid, where the gas portion powers a generator and the generator supplies electricity for the motor to run. These both improve the efficiency of the car, which is why hybrids are favored today. The only drawback for some consumers is the size.
The corn and ethanol debate may help farmers
The US government, have for some time now being giving a subsidy to corn and ethanol production. The reasoning behind helping in the production of corn and ethanol is that it can be used as a alternative to fossil fuels. In turn it is hoped that because ethanol burn more cleanly than petrol that it will help the environment and reduce US dependence on oil from other countries.
Hybrid Cars Could Help In Conserving Energy And Reducing Pollution
With the gas prices being so high, more and more people are becoming aware of how valuable energy is in our daily lives. Hybrid cars show how energy can be conserved and pollution reduced. The cleanest non hybrid car can put about 90 percent smog pollution in the air versus the hybrid.

BEST BioDiesel Cashton Receives Permits for 8 Million Gallon BioDiesel Plant -- Cashton Facility to Create Clean Energy and Jobs
Madison, WI (PRWeb) January 31, 2007 -- BEST BioDiesel Cashton, LLC, announced today it has received a construction and operating permit from the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources for an 8 million gallon B-100 fuel production facility. Site work and construction activities have begun and the excavation for footings and foundations are in progress. The facility is scheduled for completion by end of April, 2007, and to being commissioning in July, 2007.
BEST BioDiesel Cashton facility meets or exceeds very stringent air quality and air emissions standards established by the EPA. "Designing an efficient production system that meets all the environmental concerns has been a major accomplishment for our engineering and permitting staff," stated Tony Janowiec, Managing Member and Vice President of Operations for BEST BioDiesel Cashton. "We are pleased to confirm that our plant will meet all air emissions and water discharge standards," added Janowiec.
BEST BioDiesel Cashton Is generating both construction and permanent jobs, allowing Cashton to leverage its geographic location, attract green industries and position itself as a leader in bioenergy. BEST BioDiesel Cashton is located on a 6-acre site within the Cashton Greens Energy Park located at 111 Eagle Drive in Cashton. The final project will include a 3,500 square foot office and control center complex, laboratory, weigh scale, a 1,200,000 gallon tank farm, and a 9,600 square foot building to house the 8.0 million gallon biodiesel plant.
BEST BioDiesel Cashton's is a wholly owned subsidiary of BEST BioDiesel, Inc. The company will be the showcase for all of BEST BioDiesel's current technology and future production enhancements. BEST BioDiesel has created a distributed production template which significantly improves the efficiencies of biodiesel production through continuous flow decanting, improved washing processes, enhanced recovery of methanol, and world class process water sewer discharge levels. BEST BioDiesel's solutions increase production volume of existing facilities and decrease the footprint of new facilities, significantly reducing construction timelines and expansion costs.
BEST BioDiesel believes the future of biodiesel will be determined by the controllers of feed stocks and the creators of distributed production systems close to the source of those feed stocks. While soybean or other triglyceride-based oil will be the primary raw materials, BEST BioDiesel Cashton will be able to process a variety of feed stocks through a pretreatment system to be installed prior to commissioning the plant. This process permits the use of a more economical selection of feed stocks.
About the BEST Energies family of companies:
• BEST BioDiesel, Inc. develops turnkey biodiesel facilities which significantly improve the throughput of existing production facilities, reduce the scale, cost and speed of construction in new facilities, and minimize resource inputs and system discharges.
• BEST BioDiesel Cashton, LLC is constructing an 8 million gallon biodiesel plant within the Cashton Green Energy Park.
• BEST Pyrolysis, Inc. develops integrated systems which take biomass feed stocks and concurrently produce energy streams which include: syngas for boiler fuel or electrical generation; char for a pelletized fuel, green coal, soil enhancements or an activated filter material; and waste heat for re-use in prodcution and export to other processes.
• BEST BioEnergy Products, LLC produces superior clean energy products created from renewable bio-based resources.
• BEST Australia PTY LTD engineers specialty clean energy solutions, focused on using renewable biomass resources, for BEST Energies' customers in the Asian Pacific region.
BEST Energies' solutions, all focused on renewable bio-based resources, help the environment by proactively managing under-utilized biomass streams, limiting C02 greenhouse gases and providing effective carbon sequestration solutions. These distributed energy solutions are built near biomass sources where they help to solve biomass waste problems while creating energy close to consumption centers, significantly reducing transportation costs in energy distribution.
