Propane Gas Fireplace vs Natural Gas Fireplace
When considering what the benefits are to installing a propane gas fireplace vs. a natural gas fireplace there are many things to consider. First of all both kinds run off of gas rather than electricity or wood, and during a power outage they can be considered a reliable source of heat. When compared to a typically wood burning stove, both are cleaner considering the amount of dust the fireplace spreads throughout the room. Despite all these similar qualities there lies some substantial differences. When deciding to purchase your gas fireplace, you should consider both options carefully and decide what works best with your personal situation before making a purchase.
All About Hybrid Cars
Environmental issues have never been in the spotlight as much as they are today. Consumers are becoming much more environmentally conscious and companies are scrambling to appease them. This is also very true of automobile companies and this trend has lead to the development of hybrid cars.
Industrial Nanotech Distributor Awarded Contract to Supply Nansulate® for BioFuel Refinery Project
Industrial Nanotech, Inc., announced today that its Oklahoma-based distributor, Pioneer Builders, has been awarded a contract to supply over 800 gallons of the Company's patented thermally insulating and corrosion resistant coating, Nansulate®, for a new biofuel facility being built by Greenlight Biofuels, Ltd. Pioneer Builders will apply the nanotechnology-based coating on large tanks, lines, and other refinery equipment being installed in the new facility.
Unprecedented Second Approval for ORYXE Energy's Biodiesel Additive Allows Fuel Producers to Utilize Technology at a Significantly Lower Treat Rate
First additive that is scientifically proven to reduce NOx emissions from biodiesel approved by State of Texas under new test protocol.
Alternative Fuel Vehicle Market Cracks Wide Open as Oil Thunders Towards $110 per Barrel; TechnoMetrica Releases New Study
New research shows that American consumers, beaten down by high gasoline prices, are now more ready than ever for alternative fueled vehicles - Northeasterners hardest hit by high gasoline prices, market ripe for development.
Discover What the Oil Industry Doesn't Want You To Know in this New Ethanol Myth Busting Book, Free Special Report and Workshops
Alcohol Can Be A Gas! Fueling an Ethanol Revolution for the 21st Century by author David Blume, along with its accompanying workshops, provide a clear plan of action for transforming communities into vibrant economic engines via an integrated food/fuel production model that is both environmentally regenerative and self-reliant.
This 570 page book clearly explains the history, politics, ecology, economics, and potential future of ethanol as a fuel. It deconstructs many of the current myths decrying ethanol and extensively describes alternate feedstocks that would provide plentiful fuel without adversely affecting the world's food supply.
Biodiesel And Its Producing Alternatives
In a world where people rely heavily on diesel-powered engines to perform many functions for both agriculture and other known industries, it no longer comes as a surprise if there is a limited supply of derivatives of diesel fuels with traces of petroleum.
Comparing Hybrid Cars With Regular Cars
Since man first figured out how to build and use a car, we?ve been used to driving round in cars that are powered by the internal combustion engine. There has really never been another viable alternative. But those times are changing. With the ever increasing media attention on green issues and the need to look after our planet, hybrid cars are slowly becoming integrated into our society. People are starting to compare hybrid cars to the more ordinary cars they have now, and they?re wondering if or when it?s worth making the change.
Achieving Success In Oil & Natural Gas Investing
Investments in oil & gas private placements, or direct participation projects should only be made by investors who understand, or learn how to implement a deliberate plan to minimize risk, while clearly understanding a likely, and reasonable risk/reward ratio...investors need to accept the over-all risk they must take to achieve the upside necessary to justify taking the risk in the first place.

Leading Industry Experts will be Presenting at Next Biofuels Technologies Conference in Beijing
Singapore (PRWEB) September 6, 2007 - Leading Industry experts will be presenting at Next Biofuels Technologies Conference in Beijing
Experts will gather in Beijing to present and discuss on next generation technologies for biofuels (ethanol, biodiesel & synthetic fuels), yield-efficient feedstock management and production economics at CMT's Next Biofuels Technologies Conference, 25-26 October 2007.
Emerging technologies, biomass conversion, cellulosic ethanol production and biomass-to-liquid (BTL) take on the centre-stage of the discussion as the global food versus fuel constraint puts the pressure on alternative feedstocks, new process and technologies. Oil companies, transportation and the utilities sectors in Asia are also pacing up their R&D and integration strategy to either compete or complement with evolving new technological development.
Latest emerging alternative feedstock for production of biofuels are Sweet sorghum and jatropha. Major cultivation and production plans have been laid out for commercialized usage of these crops. At the same time, the industry is also looking to adopt new technologies in the production process/technologies of biomass and cellulosic feedstock. Now that China has prohibited corn based ethanol production and mandated the switch to non-food agriculture feedstock, such as sweet sorghum and cellulose, Asia's strategy to realize this will hinge on available acreage and yield for the oil crops.
All the above and more will be discussed at CMT's Next Biofuels Technologies conference, a spin-off to its successful North Asia Biofuels conference that took place in Shanghai last December. Panelist invited to share views on opportunities and latest updates on the biofuels industry includes BP, Choren, Biomass Technology Research Center, International Crops Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics, McKinsey & Company, Nantong Biolux Bioenergy Protein Feed Co, FCStone, Genencor, Indian Oil Corp, Lurgi, Temasek Life Sciences Laboratory, Tian Biogreen Energy, Tsinghua University and USDA ARS.
